Therapy is most effective if you understand what your issues and goals are and how to work on them. We will explore your current challenges and create goals that will help to decrease your stress and suffering. Clients will learn skills in both individual and group sessions. The four DBT Skill modules includes Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Skills. Take a look to discover which skill(s) might be most helpful to you.

Are you not always aware or sure of what you are feeling or why you get upset? Core Mindfulness Skills will support you in decreasing confusion about yourself.

Do you act impulsively or avoid things? Distress Tolerance Skills will help you decrease impulsivity.

Do you feel like your emotions can become intense and your mood changes quickly? Emotion Regulation Skills will support you by becoming less vulnerable to emotion dysregulation.

Do you have difficulty maintaining relationships or asking for what you want? Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills will help you feel more effective in your relationships.

Along with tracking your goals and learning skills, clients will be encouraged to reach out and Phone Coach to get through those challenging moments in life.
